Who are we?

iQueLab is what happens when you put some web technology magicians together with some hotel industry veterans, and ask the question: what do hotels REALLY need, and how can we use the internet to make it reality? iQueLab co-founder Roman Peskin could not understand why there were not better tools available in his daily work as a cluster Revenue Manager, so he decided to make them himself (with a lot of of help from some very web savvy friends). iQueLab operates out of the UK, with the development team located in Prague, Tel-Aviv and Kiev.
Previous experience of the 6 member team includes: Director at Expedia, Revenue Management Consultant, Senior Product Manager at Nokia, Artificial Intelligence researcher at Symantec, Software architect at Nokia-Siemens, R&D engineer at Ukrainian Space Agency, Hotel General Manager, Chief Network Architect at a national ISP.

What do we do?

iQueLab uses technology to solve problems. The first problem we focussed on is the lack of easy-to-use and practical internet market intelligence tools for hotels. The solution was iNNtelligenz, the first truly usable analytics tool that turns massive amounts of constantly fluctuating data points into clear market patterns and trends. Every component of the iNNtelligenz interface had to pass the 10 sec. test: “If it's not clear within 10 seconds whats going on, its not good enough”. This ruthless commitment to usability means that hoteliers wishing to optimize their market position can get on with their job, and not waste their time swimming in an ocean of numbers and complicated interfaces.

How do we do it?

Given that a member of our team actually worked for the Ukrainian Space Agency, it would not be an exaggeration to say that what we do is rocket science. What sets iQuelab apart is a rare combination of competencies that result in something valuable and usable:
  • Deep industry knowledge: we feel the hoteliers pain, because we ARE hoteliers.
  • Data harvesting competency: analysis can only be as accurate at the data it is based on. We know how to consistently get the right data from the web.
  • Interface expertise: and what good is all the data in the world, if you can't make anything of it? We aim to provide the insights of Google Analytics, with the user experience of Apple.
